Welcome to the commercial dance beginners’ course! This course is intended especially for beginners in the style and for dancers who want to start commercial dance in a calm and encouraging atmosphere.

In the classes, the basic techniques of the style are practiced, as well as body control, rhythm, and learning short choreographies. The choreographies are clear and accessible, and the class progresses step by step.

The course is suitable for you if you have little or no previous experience in commercial dance, or if you want to strengthen your basics and build confidence in dancing.

Class description

In commercial dance classes, you throw yourself into the world of music videos! Commercial is, as the name suggests, a commercial dance style that fuses different dance genres depending on the music. This energetic and versatile dance style combines influences from street dance, hip hop, jazz, and show dance, among others.

After the warm-up and a short technique section, the classes focus on clear choreographies, expressiveness, and performance. The training develops rhythm, movement language, stage charisma, and physical fitness.

Beginners

Beginner-level classes and courses are intended for dancers who are new to the style or who want to return to basics. The pace is calmer, and the movements and choreographies are built clearly and logically. No previous experience in the style is required unless otherwise stated.
