Effiina Creative sells participation fees for dance classes, courses, workshops, and events, as well as various products through its online store. These terms and conditions apply to payments for courses, workshops, and events, product orders in the online store, and corresponding deliveries.
These terms and conditions are valid from October 21, 2024. We reserve the right to modify the terms unilaterally from time to time, so please review the terms and conditions each time you make a purchase.
Products and Pricing
The characteristics and prices of participation fees and products for sale are presented in each product description. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please verify the prices before registering for dance courses, workshops, or events, or before confirming an order in the online store. All prices include VAT.
Ordering and Agreement
Registration for dance courses, workshops, or events is binding and cannot be canceled afterward. If you have chosen to pay the course fee in installments, you are obligated to pay the full participation fee even if you discontinue the course.
Effiina Creative reserves the right to make changes to schedules and instructors.
Products can be ordered in the online store by adding them to the shopping cart, confirming the order, and paying for the contents via the payment service. When placing an order, you are required to familiarize yourself with and commit to the current terms and conditions. You understand that your accepted and confirmed order is binding (except where otherwise stated regarding the right of cancellation) and constitutes a contract between us under these terms and conditions.
Right of Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please review your purchase carefully. Participation fees for dance classes, courses, workshops, or events are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed.
Our absence policy is as follows:
Fees for courses, workshops, and events cannot be refunded except in cases where they must be canceled. In the event of a pandemic, epidemic, or other force majeure situation, courses and workshops may be replaced with online classes and/or rescheduled.
Absences from dance courses may be compensated by attending any other Shenanigans Studio course with available space. Make-up classes must be completed within the same season (e.g., fall absences during the same fall season).
Note: Absences due to school or work and make-up classes must always be agreed upon in advance. Please register for the make-up class in advance by email at effiinacreative@gmail.com.
A course may be discontinued in the case of sudden long-term illness. In such cases, a medical certificate is required for a refund of the course fee.
For product orders, Finnish Consumer Protection Act grants the right to cancel the order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receiving the product. This right does not apply to participation fees for dance classes, courses, workshops, events, or similar services.
The cancellation notice must be made clearly via email to the address below or with a written notice included with the returned product. Please include the order number, your name, email address, and phone number. Returned products must be unused, in original packaging, and properly packed for return shipment.
If the purchase is canceled, the product must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice. The returner must be able to prove that the product was returned within the deadline (e.g., with a return receipt). The returner is responsible for return shipping costs, which will not be reimbursed.
When returning an order, please include your name, contact details, and bank account number for the refund. We will refund the payment without undue delay in accordance with consumer protection law.
For Online Shenanigans tutorials, cancellation or refunds are not possible. This is because upon purchase you receive immediate and irrevocable access to the material, making it impossible to return the service. Please carefully review all available information, product descriptions, sample content, and other details before making a purchase decision. If you experience technical issues with tutorial videos, I will help you find a solution. In such cases, please contact effiinacreative@gmail.com.
Payment and Payment Methods
The payment method in the online store is PayPal. Payment methods for dance courses, workshops, and events include invoice, installment payments, MobilePay, and sports benefits such as Epassi and Edenred.
The reminder period for late payments is 14 days, and late payment interest is determined in accordance with the Interest Act.
Order and Payment Confirmation
From spring 2025 onward, we will no longer send separate order confirmations for courses by email. By submitting the registration form, you accept these terms and conditions and commit to paying the full course fee.
After a successful online store order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email when placing an order. The confirmation will also state the selected payment method.
If we are unable to confirm your order for any unexpected reason, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
Inspection of Delivery, Errors, and Issues
Please inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt. If a product is lost or damaged during delivery, does not match your order, or is otherwise defective, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 14 days by email at effiinacreative@gmail.com so we can agree on how to resolve the issue. In consumer sales, we comply with mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding defects.

Limitation of Liability
Effiina Creative shall not be liable for any indirect, direct, or other damages related to an order, delivery, product, or any of the above, except to the extent that mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory laws provide otherwise.
Disputes
We aim to resolve any disputes related to your order primarily through mutual agreement, so please contact us first by email at effiinacreative@gmail.com to resolve the matter.
If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Before bringing the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact Consumer Advisory Services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
